About Us
The one thing that you cannot change is the academic record that you have achieved over the years. Everything else can be improved on. We do not know of a single employer who selects people just on academic grades. Generally employers use a scoring system for application forms where the marks awarded for academics count for between only 15-20% of the overall mark. HelpMeGetAnInterview focuses on the remaining 80-85% percent with the simple objective of getting you a score high enough to be selected for interview.
Our team Claire Crichton is the founder and managing director of HelpMeGetAnInterview. Claire graduated from Glasgow University in 1992 with a First Class degree in Law, and trained as a lawyer at Scotlands then leading law firm McGrigor Donald. In 1994, Claire moved to the City of London, where she practiced Banking and Finance law at Simmons and Simmons and tax structured finance at leading US law firm Dewey Ballantine. 1999 Claire co-founded DiversityNow, a recruitment company which promotes diversity in the City institutions. Claire set up HelpMeGetAnInterview in 2001, and since then has helped thousands of candidates maximise their potential and get great jobs. HelpMeGetAnInterviews team of application writers all come from professional backgrounds (our current team comprises bankers, accountants and an economist), and have a great deal of experience writing impressive application answers to help candidates land interviews. We are backed up by a dedicated team of PAs who help manage our pipeline and keep the company running smoothly!
Joint statement by HelpMeGetAnInterview and Harrison Careers So many people ask us about the relationship between our companies that we thought we would issue a joint statement clarifying the way we work together. HelpMeGetAnInterview and Harrison Careers have a strong and long-established working relationship we share many clients and recommend clients to each other. Claire Crichton, who runs HelpMeGetAnInterview, is a non-executive director of Harrison Careers. Despite this relationship, we stress that HelpMeGetAnInterview and Harrison Careers are independent from each other, and particularly that:
HelpMeGetAnInterview and Harrison Careers do not compete with each other, nor does either company profit from the others success. Any decision by a client to use the services of HelpMeGetAnInterview makes no difference to Harrison Careers, and vice versa.
